President

Emeka Uwaechi

The President is responsible for leadership of the Board and with the other Directors will set the direction for the Chapter. The President is responsible for interactions with the regional and international IIBA partners.
 
Emeka Uwaechi is a Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience across various industries. Certified in Project Management, Agile, IT Service Management, and Business Analysis, Emeka specializes in driving successful project outcomes through strategic solutions. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and a Project Management diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He worked with the Government of Saskatchewan on various projects as business analyst/project manager. Currently he is working with the Government of Alberta as  Senior Business consultant/Project manager. With a passion for continuous learning and industry trends, Emeka is committed to helping organizations achieve their strategic objectives.

Treasurer and Secretary

Olivia Wang

With the combined role of Secretary and Treasurer, this Director is responsible for the regular operations of the Board and maintaining the financial affairs of the Chapter. 
 

Olivia is the Treasurer and Secretary for IIBA Saskatchewan Chapter.  She joined the board in 2017 and has held various board positions within the chapter.  Olivia has a bachelor degree in Business and Economics from the University of Regina.  She has worked in the financial industry and municipalities for over 10 years.  Olivia currently works at Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association as a Finance Assistant Consultant.  In her spare time, she loves watching her daughter play hockey and lacrosse.  Olivia also enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures, practicing Yoga and Zumba.

Vice President (VP)

Kofoworola Oni

The Vice President supports the President in their role. The Vice President is responsible for local partner relationships.
 

Kofo Oni holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of East London. She is also a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). Kofo has worked in the financial industry and with the Government of Saskatchewan for over nine years. She currently works with one of the leading credit unions in Saskatchewan as Manager, Financial Services. In her spare time, Kofo loves spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys volunteering in the community, reading,and exploring nature.

 

Director, Member Engagement

Mohamed Ashfaq Hussain

The Director of Member Engagement is responsible for membership of the Chapter, engaging and retaining members and addressing their needs.
 
 

Mohamed Ashfaq Hussain has been serving as the Director of Member Engagement since June 2024. In his current role, he brings a wealth of experience as a Technical Solution Analyst with WBM Technologies, where he has been contributing since August 2022. Ashfaq holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analysis from Fanshawe College, London, Ontario, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India. Outside of his professional pursuits, Ashfaq enjoys watching anime and Korean dramas. He is also an avid participant in physical activities, including badminton, tennis, volleyball, and trekking. Known for his adventurous spirit, Ashfaq embraces new challenges and is not deterred by unconventional approaches.

Director, Education

Avneet Kaur

​The Director of Education is responsible for professional development opportunities for the Chapter.
Avneet Kaur is with the Board since June 2023. She was director of member engagement last year. She moved to the Director of Education role in 2024.Professionally, Avneet is a Senior Business Data Analyst with Government of Saskatchewan since December 2019. She is CBAP and PMP certified. On a personal note, Avneet was born and raised in India, holds master’s degrees in Electronics Systems Engineering from University of Regina. She likes to cook, bake, watch movies and hang out with friends and family during her free time.

Director, Marketing

Fareen Wallani

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the marketing of chapter events as well as promotion of the Chapter in general.

Director, Communications

Manisha Arora

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the communication of chapter events as well as promotion of the Chapter in general and maintaining chapter website.
 

Director, Event Coordination

Akhere Omosigho

The Director of event coordination is responsible for the creation of chapter events on the website and coordinating/hosting the events.

Akhere Omosigho is a results driven and strategic innovative leader with expansive experience in strategy planning and execution, project management, contract negotiation and stakeholder management

With almost a decade in the insurance industry, Akhere utilizes her experience to build effective relationships and drive positive outcomes for IIBA SK and the community. Akhere has an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and currently works as a Partnerships Manager at Saskatchewan Government Insurance.
