The IIBA Saskatchewan Chapter is pleased to launch our Mentoring Program in May 2022. The goal of this Program is to help IIBA Saskatchewan Chapter members achieve their
professional development goals through the mentor-mentee relationship

What Our Mentoring Program...

How mentoring program works

In order to ensure maximum access to the program, mentor/mentee pairing is in effect for three months at a time. At the end of the 3-month period, those wishing to remain in the program must indicate their interest and will be placed back on the waiting list for a future pairing.

Apply. Prospective mentors and mentees must submit an application form.
Be Matched. Upon receipt of your application form the Mentoring team will review your application form and will attempt to match mentors and mentees based on needs and availability of each.
1. If you are matched, the Mentoring team will send you program documentation, including a mentor/mentee contract to sign.
2. If a match cannot be found, your name will be placed on our waiting list for the next round of mentor/mentee pairing.
Sign the Contract. Participants are asked to sign up for an initial three-month commitment. At the end of this period, each participant will decide if they wish to continue in the Mentoring Program.
Establish Expected Outcomes. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet initially to clarify the baseline expectations of the mentorship.
Meet Regularly. Mentors and mentees should plan to meet with each other on a regular basis and agree on action items to be reviewed at the subsequent meeting.
Report Progress. Monthly, mentors and mentees will each report progress of the mentorship to the Mentoring team

Program Eligibility

To participate in the Mentoring Program, you must be:

an IIBA member in good standing

Submit Your Application

In order to be flexible for our members, we will accept applications throughout the year. We will start by building a Mentor database for a period of time, followed by welcoming mentee registrations and then matching them. To apply to be a mentor/mentee, simply complete the appropriate form and send it to membership@saskatchewan.iiba.org
