The BABOK describes the Business Analysis Plan as a tool a Business Analyst should consider making use of. Some PMO’s also strongly request or recommend you create them and may provide the analyst templates that you are told to complete for each and every project you are assigned to. But are these just templates? Do they really provide any real purpose?  Do you really spend any time writing them and sending them out for approval?
Or-- do you feel it would be a better use of your time to grab that second caramel latte instead filling out another stupid PMO form?

  • We’ll travel together using past project failures and stumbles to discover how the BA Plan can actually make or break your project and how important this process is in the life of a BA.
  • How BA Plans can prevent failures and why you should take them seriously
  • How to create a BA Plan to get value out of them How to use a  BA Plan to better  understand your project team and sponsors and draw them in
